Welcome to 5th Grade!
Hello!
I am Bailey Martin and I am very excited to be teaching your child this year. This is my second year teaching, and I am thrilled to be returning to Resurrection! I have spent most of my life in Sedgwick and loved growing up in a small town while still being close to the city. I graduated from Sedgwick High School and then graduated from Friends University with my teaching degree in May of 2022. I am married to my wonderful husband Brett and we just welcomed our first child, Jett, in June! In my free time I love to craft, hang out with friends, and in the fall/ winter I enjoy watching football. I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan, but will watch any game that’s on.
In order to help your student as much as possible, I believe that it takes you as the parents and myself working together. This includes communicating with you as frequently as possible. If you need anything or have any questions, feel free to email me at my school email, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. In order to be present with my family in the evenings, I don’t look at my email after 5 pm, but I will answer you first thing in the morning.
I look forward to getting to know you and your students this year! I aim to make your student feel loved, accepted, to know that they are capable of whatever they put their mind to, and to help them grow in their faith in the year to come. I think this year will be a fantastic year! I can’t wait to see what fun memories we will make by the end of the year. Again, feel free to reach out if you need anything.
Go Forth Faithfully,
Bailey Martin
